    Hi

    Try to put an image directly on your server. Maybe this is the issue - some path problems because of where the images are stored.

    Regards, Ruben.

    Hi Ruben,

    I\'ve definitely got the featured image set, and had previously tried creating additional blog posts with their own featured image - unfortunately no luck. I\'m thinking it\'s something with the Server as you\'ve suggested. The website had already been setup and is on an AWS (Amazon Web Services) Cloud Platform which i\'m unfortunately not too familiar with - i\'ll do some research and see if there\'s any similar issues going on out there with AWS. Any other advice / feedback would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Blair

    Hi

    Maybe there\'s an issue with your server - do you have some image libraries such as GDLibrary? Is your featured image set in your blog post? Have you tried creating another post with it\'s own featured image and see if that one works?

    Regards, Ruben.

    Hi Ruben,

    I\'m having an issue with the blog featured images not showing up on the blog list page. You can see this here:
    http://gosnowapp.com/blog/
    I have updated to the latest version of the lobo theme. Viewing the source html it looks as though the img src in the inner-post div is blank...

    Testing this on my local dev environment it all seems to work fine with the img src being populated etc...

    Any clues on how I might resolve this?

    Thanks,

    Blair

    Hi

    This is not an error, it\'s a notice (warning). It just tells you about a good practice, but it does\'t have sense in this context, because fallbacks are only for IE8 and our theme doesn\'t support this browser at all. And use of !important is indeed a debated thing in the web development world, but it\'s not an error - it can be used and it has real good use cases, such as this one.

    Unless you see an X sign, use any code that you find here with confidence.

    Regards, Ruben.

    Hello from NY Ruben!

    Tried to do what you describe in this thread, but get the following error message:

    Fallback background-color (hex or RGB) should precede RGBA background-color.

    Use of !important

    (see attached file).

    Any help would be appreciated,

    Cheers,

    Fabrice.

    I applied this and, surprise, this works only one of two... what is that (lol) ?

    .post-item.odd .post-overlay,
    .post-item.evem .post-overlay {
    background-color: rgba(0,0,0,1) !important; }

    Hi

    Well, if you want to display all the feat. images within your blog page, you can do the following using a single custom css rule:

    .post-item.odd .post-overlay,
    .post-item.even .post-overlay {
       background-color: rgba(230,230,230,0.8) !important;
    }

    This is the easiest way to manage this. If you notice the las value within the background-color property (0.8), this is the opacity for the overlay. Just adjust is as you prefer here. The other values are the RGB, so modifying them will change the overlay color as well.

    You can add custom CSS rules within Appearance > Theme Options > Custom CSS

    Regards,

    Ruben.

  • Lobo's FAQ

    Is it possible to show all the featured images instead of the actual layout in blog pages?
